| Why Bison Mountain? Having grown up in Western Montana, everything outdoors was a part of our families lifestyle and the mountains were everyone's playground. Bison Mountain is a 7,825 foot peak in Western Montana that is part of the Rocky Mountains. There is nothing significant about Bison Mountain itself, but the Bison heard that roamed Montana during the day of Lewis and Clark was a big part of Montana's heritage and thus the peak was aptly named. The Bison skull that graces the Montana State quarter, it's license plate, and our national guard aircraft reflects this historical link to our past. Bison Mountain seemed to be the perfect fit for our outdoor product business. |
